St Sever de Saintonge is a village in Pons, but for administrative purposes it is attached to the city of Saintes, just 15 minutes away. St Sever is in the heart of Roman Haute Saintonge, and is rich with historical sites.

There are around 600 residents in the village, and shops, doctors, a school and a post office. It is a thriving community, with many clubs and activities.
